I forgot my Matrimony ID / Password. What should i do?

Click on the "Forgot Password" link in the home page and enter your "E-mail address" or "Matrimony ID". Your "Matrimony ID" and "Password" will be mailed to you immediately. Your Email address should be same one given in your profile.

How do I change my password?

Login using your "Matrimony / Email ID" and "Password". On the left navigation bar scroll below to "Basic Information" menu, here you will see Login Password. Enter your new password and confirm the same. Click on "Update Basis Information" button. Your new password will be activated immediately and can be used from the next time you login.

I'm registering for my brother/sister and me. Can we both have the same Matrimony ID?

A Matrimony ID identifies each person uniquely. Please register separate profiles for you and your sibling.

How long will it take to upgrade my profile, once I make the payment?

We will upgrade your profile as soon as we receive your payment. An e-mail confirming your upgradation will be sent to you. You can make payments through the Internet using your net banking /credit card /debit card/ UPI.

How do I make the payment through post / courier?

You can send cheque/DD along with your Matrimony ID to our address. Please send cheques in the local currency of the office to which it is sent. Address for Post/Courier: SutarWedding.com, 55, Shantivan Lay-out, Hanuman Ward, Warora, Dist: Chandrapur, Maharashtra. 442907 (India).

How long will it take to upgrade my profile if I have made the payment by Cheque/DD through post or courier?

We will upgrade your profile once we receive your payment. If you have made the payment and your profile is still not upgraded, kindly send a mail to info@sutarwedding.com along with your payment details.

How do I Add / Register Profile Free?

Click on the link/Button "Register Now" The form to add your profile will be displayed. Give all the necessary as well as optional details asked in the form. Click on the submit button. Give as many details as possible, including your contact details in full. This will increase the chances of your profile being displayed when our members search for matches. After you submit your information, your profile will be automatically created and you shall be given a "Matrimony ID" generated for future references. All the profiles are validated before inclusion in the database. It may take up to 2-4 days for the validation. An e-mail would be sent to you once the profile is added. The profiles are validated for statutory regulations of the site to avoid pornography and various other factors and to have uniformity in the database.

Can I register for my friend, relative or sibling?

Yes! We have a large number of profiles being registered by parents, siblings, relatives etc.

How do i modify my profile?

To modify your profile contents, Login using your "Matrimony / Email ID" and "Password" On the "Dashboard" page click on the "Update Profile" option in the left navigation bar. You can modify the profile contents that are displayed and confirm it by clicking on the "Update" button.

How do I delete my profile?

Login using your "Matrimony ID" and "Password". Select the "Delete Confirmation" option under "My Account" section in the left navigation and enter the reason for deletion. Click on the "Yes" button. Your profile will be deleted after confirmation. Please note that profiles once deleted cannot be restored or reactivated.

I'm a non-registered member. Can I contact a member?

As a non-registered member you can only search for profiles of members registered on our portal. But to contact them you have to become a member.

How do I change a photo in my profile?

Login using your "Matrimony / Email ID" and "Password" Click on the "Manage Photo" section in the left navigation bar.

How do I protect my photo?

To ensure your privacy, you can protect your photo with a password. You can give the password to prospective alliances upon communication. Login using your "Matrimony / Email ID" and "Password" Click on the "Manage Photo" section in the left navigation bar. Enter your photo password (different from profile password) and re-enter it for confirmation. Click on the "Update Photos" button. Please note that this option is available only for Paid members.

How do I view protected photos?

If a photo prompts for a password to be viewed when you try to view it, it means that this member has protected his/her photo for privacy reasons. To view a protected photo, you need a photo password. Contact the member and get the photo password to view the photo.
